Tyler Krenek - Monsignor Donovan H.S.

Hello New Jersey! My name is Tyler Krenek (Ty-Guy) and I am currently a sophomore at Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River. I am extremely excited to begin serving as your State Charity Executive Member for 2008. I am so grateful to all of you and my MonDon family for this opportunity. I cannot wait to begin! Student Council has been an important part of my life since grade school and leadership has proven to be my most cherished gift and enormous responsibility.

At Monsignor Donovan, I love to get involved in any and every school function. On Fridays, I’m usually going wild for our Griffin Basketball Team and on Wednesdays I’m practicing with our band as our lead (and only) tuba player. I also serve as Secretary for the MDHS chapter of Habitat for Humanity. I am a member of Big Brother/Big Sisters, Law Club, Show Choir and our MDTV Station where I currently host a weekly sports show called “Griffin Game Time”. My favorite things to do are making people laugh, being involved and helping the needy in our community.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy rooting for bad sports teams (Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Hawks, and the St. Louis Cardinals), spending time with my wonderful family and friends and playing games with my siblings (I’m the youngest of 4). I absolutely love sports and hope to pursue a career in an athletic-oriented field. Summers find me working at the beautiful Jersey shore.

I cannot wait to begin my term as State Charity Executive Member. I know the upcoming year will be one of the most memorable of my life. I know that by working with you, the students of New Jersey, and our current Executive Board, we will all have an extremely rewarding year.
