Hello, New Jersey ! Im Jen Luck and I am honored to be your new 2008 State Board of Education Student Representative. Rest assured that I will fulfill all obligations of this position. First, I'd like to thank everyone who supported me in my NJASC campaign. To my awesome fellow Student Council officers, amazing advisor, family and friends, thank you so much for your love and support. And a special thanks to those who put their vote of confidence in me, it is greatly appreciated and I will not let you down!
I am currently a junior at South Brunswick High School and serve as a member of the Student Council. In addition, I am a three year member of the varsity field hockey team and track team. I am also a member of the Dead Presidents Society.
As your State Board of Education Representative I encourage you to voice your concerns and opinions on matters that are important to you. I am comfortable managing controversial issues; if I can be a devout Boston Red Sox fan in Yankee territory I can do anything!
