Sergio Ingato - West Windsor Plainsboro H.S. South
"Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it." - Dwight D. Eisenhower
Hey Jersey! I’m Sergio Ingato and I must say that being elected to the position of State Charity Executive Member was one of the most exciting moments in my 17 years of living. I am extremely psyched and honored to be on the 2010 NJASC Board! Currently, I am a junior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South and Vice President of my school’s StuCo. I have been actively involved in council ever since the 6th grade and can’t seem to ever get enough. Aside from Student Council, I am involved in my schools many plays, play lacrosse, and am a Peer Leader. Outside of school I am a member of Kids-4- Kids, which is charity organization based in West Windsor (where I reside) that helps children who may not have a good family situation. We host car washes, backpack drives, and have a really fun walk/carnival in the spring.
I am the youngest of four boys and have a younger sister. Fun-Fact: We still all get our picture taken with Santa regardless of the fact that my oldest brother is almost 24. Also, if my name isn’t a dead giveaway, I’m Italian. And yes, I live at the Shore during the summer, but not Seaside. If I were on eHarmony, I would describe myself as energetic, fun loving, and enthusiastic. I just want to say thanks to my family, friends, StuCo, and adviser Brandy Moncada for all of their unwavering support! I promise you New Jersey, Sergio Ingato is a man of action! Once I start the race I’m not stopping no matter how hard. I just may need my inhaler along the way.
