Hello to all students in New Jersey! My name is Russell Bauer and I am your NJASC Middle Level Representative for 2010. I presently attend Kenneth R. Olson Middle School in Tabernacle, and am in the 7th grade. I am involved in a wide variety of activities in school such as: jazz band, mathletes, track, and (of course) student council where I serve as Vice-President. Outside school I participate in Boy Scouts and I volunteer for the TOPS soccer program where I assist physically and mentally challenged children play soccer. I do all this while remaining on the Principal’s Honor Roll. My parents and brother are my biggest supporters. Our family motto is, “Do your personal best!”

Becoming your state Middle Level Representative is truly an exciting opportunity for me, and I look forward to serving the students of New Jersey. I am thankful for all the support of my family, student council advisors, principal, fellow student council members, friends, as well as the presidents from the various New Jersey schools who believe that I can make a difference. I look forward to working together with the other NJASC Executive Board members and believe that with this team anything is possible!
