"It was a true honor to be part of the LTC 2 pilot program during Session 2. Coming back for a second time made me feel comfortable and relaxed with ease...I will definitely continue to use the advice that I learned from Senior Counselors in my future endeavors. I would personally like to thank all of the LTC 2 delegates for making my experience phenomenal! With the help of "The Green Squad," I was able to make new friends while increasing my confidence...I'll never forget my experiences at LTC these past two years, and I will miss all of the Junior and Senior Counselors. "LTC was great! Everything about it was nice, fun, and amazing. The classes were great and the activities were really interesting, fun, and cool...you meet so many new people and make so many new friends. "Imagine four straight days of dancing, singing, utter joy, and most importantly bonding, and you will get a glimpse into what an incredible experience LTC was. From the first step you are greeted with warm cheers and awaiting arms to welcome you into what will be one of the most fun times of your life. Being entirely honest I was not looking forward to LTC, I did not know what to expect and I had predetermined I was not going to like it. However I can assure that, regardless of your predispositions, the sheer jovial attitude of the camp will permeate and in no time at all you will be loving the place like everyone around you. My counselors were fantastic, my brothers and sisters from my townhouse and color group were unforgettable...I will become a more active member in my student council than ever before, thanks to the inspirational and informative classes/seminars taken throughout the week."

"I had the time of my life at LTC! I cannot wait to incorporate the things I learned into my school and community. In four short days I gained friendships that will last a lifetime, confidence that will enhance my life, and skills to really improve my school, not just our student council. I will try my best to make other clubs aware of the NJASC and the wonderful things they do to help students and schools in New Jersey. LTC was a great growing experience where I got to meet people with similar interests and find great new programs to implement at home. "The pilot program of LTC 2 was amazing. I've grown a lot closer with the "Green Cult" and still share a strong bond with them, something that can never be broken. The classes were a lot more in-depth compared to the first time I attended LTC. I learned how to deal with a lot more ethical issues, such as those involving stereotypes and racism. It helped me understand how to deal with people on a personal level and as a leader. I strongly recommend going to LTC 2 for anyone that went to LTC."

"Coming to LTC, I was hesitant. I didn't know if the people would like me, if I would fit in, or if I'd even have a good time. Let's just say I was totally wrong. Once I got there, I realized that "H.E.R.E. is where I'm supposed to be!". I met people who were so similar, yet unique in their own way. I couldn't help but fall in love with all the different people. The friendships I made caused me great pain to leave, but I know we'll definitely keep in touch. I can positively say that LTC made me a better person all around. I'm a better leader, a better teacher, a better listener, a better communicator, and a better friend. Without LTC, I wouldn't be the person I came home being. I love LTC and can't imagine my life without it now!"

"LTC was an experience of a lifetime for me. I made two awesome friends who are now close to me and I still contact them. LTC taught me great fundraising ideas and many leadership skills. Another thing I really liked was all the spirit, at the beginning I was shy and afraid to "let my soul shine". At the end I was standing up and dancing on tables at lunchtime! "The first thing I noticed when arriving at LTC was the great, ebullient energy that surrounded me. This created a lively, peaceful environment, but I wondered how they maintained such high-spirits 24/7 with even more ready for the next day. After four amazing days, I got my answer and it became one of the most important lessons I took home. Their key was passion. Throughout my four days at camp, I was taught that passion is a main factor for all successes whether it's conducting a meeting, public speaking, or even meeting new people because passion is what drives us to do more with ourselves and be able to reach out to others who share a similar likeness...I learned how to bring out my passion more for Student Council and I'm now more willing to openly express my desire to help others by extending it to my community and school through my service as Class President and Treasurer of FBLA...I would recommend LTC for anyone who wants to make a difference in their lives during their summer and have the best, four day experience of their life!"

"LTC was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I will always remember Songfest, Get Acquainted games, and all of the lessons and skills I learned in order to become a better leader. It was the busiest four days I have ever had, and I enjoyed every second of them. The Senior and Junior counselors were always energetic and made the atmosphere fun all the time. Our townhouse became a family, and by day four I could trust them with my life. I would love to go (T) H.E.R.E again, because it was an amazing four days that I will never forget."

"Being at LTC with Junior Counselors who are not afraid to have fun, senior counselors who share their knowledge, and all of the delegates was an amazing part of my summer this year...LTC was a break to get away from home and just have fun with new people. Meeting new people was great, I met so many new friends that I still talk to today. Most of the fundraising ideas that we discussed I have already taken to my school. I'm so excited to share everything we learned at LTC this year with my student council! I haven't forgotten my experiences at LTC and hope that I never do!"
