1 - Speaking With Ease

The first step to improving your public speaking skills is to recognize the things you do right, and the things you need to improve. Find out through positive and constructive peer feedback in a collaborative environment.

2 - Effective Communication

Who do you think are great communicators, and what makes them so great?  Discover the true elements of effective communication, learn how to apply them, and have a lot of fun doing it.

3 - Goals for Planning S.M.A.R.T.

There are many types of projects - fundraising, service, leadership, social, spirit - what types are your Student Council doing?  The key to a truly effective project is planning, planning, planning.  Go through the essentials of "S.M.A.R.T." planning for a successful project, from brainstorming all the way to evaluation.

4 - Meeting For Success

Get tuned up on the nuts and bolts of running a Student Council or any other organization. Come ready to discuss the problems with your meetings, and what you would like them to become. You will improve your meetings and ensure a fair hearing for all members, while learning about Parliamentary Procedure and so much more...

5 - Elected To Lead Everyone

How well do you really know the students walking the halls of your school?  Do you truly represent them, or recognize their needs and expectations?  You'll have fun finding out as you learn more about yourself and your fellow delegates.

6 - You Make The Call (Strategies For Success)

You will surely face problems as a student leader.  Gain the tools and experience to face and overcome them, and explore the ethical component that is critical to each problem you will face.

7 - Deal With I.T.!

It is true that conflict is not always a bad thing. While sometimes you should avoid it, often you should DEAL with it. In fact, many times a lot of good things will come from dealing with and resolving conflict.  The key is to know what strategy to use, and when to use it.

8 - Make Your Time Count

How well do you manage your time? Do you even know how much time you spend on routine things each day, and how much time you can devote to the things you want and need to do? This one will be a real eye opener!

9 - Communciation Workshop

Your Junior Counselors will lead you in practicing the communication skills learned throughout LTC.

10 - T.E.A.M. Time

The acronym T.E.A.M. means "Together Everyone Achieves More".  Discover different styles of leadership and the effects they have on an organization, in a fun way you'll never forget.

11 - L.E.A.D.

The acronym L.E.A.D. means "Leaders Enjoy Adventure & Discovery". It's time to put it all together, as you'll utilize and apply skills learned throughout LTC to complete a series of challenging activities. You'll rediscover all that you have learned at LTC, have fun doing it, and start to think about how you could apply it to make your school a better place!
