2011 National Conference Information
This page has been set up for members of our New Jersey delegation to receive information about and register for the 2011 National Conference. NJASC Executive Director Lou Miller will be organizing our delegation and trip to St. Louis for this event.

Cost for Students and Advisors
We anticipate the cost per person to be about $1500 for students and $1600 for advisors. This includes airfare, hotel, conference registration, delegation shirts/buttons, pre and post-trip activities, as well as meals not already included as part of the conference registration. Please note that this does NOT include airline fees for checked baggage or spending money for souvenirs.
NJASC pays the conference registration fee for its' 2011 State Officers and Administrative Assistants, so we anticipate their cost per person to be about $1150.
Please note that these are ANTICIPATED costs, subject to change once NASC Conference Registration fees have been announced and travel arrangements made.
A $400.00 per person deposit will be due by March 15, 2011 and the full balance will be due by April 15, 2011. Both payments must be made to NJASC (not NASC) and sent to Executive Director Lou Miller at the NJASC Northern Office (Brooklawn Middle School).
More details will be posted in January 2011.
Trip Itinerary
We will get together on the evening of Thursday June 23, for dinner and initial delegation bonding at the home of Executive Director Wendy Booth Sitzler.
We will fly (from Philadelphia) to St. Louis on Friday June 24, and there will be a Region 2 group activity involving student leaders from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania that evening. The Region 2 website at www.northeastleaders.org will have more information about this activity in the Spring of 2011.
The actual conference takes place Saturday June 25 to Monday June 27. Once NASC releases a tentative schedule of events for the conference, we will post it here.
There will be post-trip activities after the conference ends for our delegation on Monday evening June 27 and all day Tuesday June 28. Once these activities have been planned, we will post details here.
We will fly home (to Philadelphia) on the morning of Wednesday June 29.

We will provide directions for - and links to - NASC Online Registration here in February 2011. At that time, we will also provide more information about what registration paperwork needs to be completed and the timelines.
