Marilyn Trotta, Cherokee High School
2007-2008 NJASC Advisor of the Year

Marilyn Trotta has been the Student Council Advisor at Cherokee High School for the past 15 years, and will be retiring at the end of this school year. In the words of Principal Linda Rohrer, "Marilyn has made a profound effect on the students she advises - her enthusiasm, loyalty, and dedication have enhanced the daily lives of all our students." In the words of Student Council President Elizabth Fox, "she is a dedicated teacher who always offers to stay after and possesses more enthusiasm than anyone I've ever met." Marilyn will now be our state nominee for the Regional and National Warren E. Shull Advisor of the Year awards, which will be announced at the 2008 NASC National Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. |
